The Ollital Nanometer-Scale High-Pressure Homogenizer  is a precision-engineered instrument for particle size reduction, emulsification, dispersion, and cell lysis. It uses ultra-high pressure to force materials through a specialized homogenizing valve, generating intense shear, impact, and cavitation forces that break particles down to the nanometer scale. Widely used in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, cosmetic, and chemical industries, this homogenizer is a core tool for nano-dispersion processes such as liposome preparation, vaccine adjuvant production, and microbial cell disruption.

Key Features & Benefits
Ultra-High Pressure System: The core high-pressure pump (typically a plunger pump) pressurizes liquids to hundreds or even thousands of bar, ensuring effective particle disruption under high-energy impact.

Precision Homogenizing Valve: The key component of the homogenizer, where the liquid passes through a narrow gap (micrometer-level) generating strong shear and impact forces. The design and material of the homogenizing valve significantly influence the homogenization effect.

High Cell Disruption Rate: Capable of achieving a cell disruption rate exceeding 95%, with particle sizes reduced to below 100nm.

Automated Control System: Modern homogenizers are equipped with an automated control system that accurately adjusts working pressure, flow, and temperature to meet the homogenization requirements of different materials.

Multi-Stage Homogenization (Optional): Some models feature multi-stage homogenization, allowing materials to pass through multiple homogenizing valves for step-by-step refinement, suitable for processing requiring extremely high homogenization standards.

Temperature Control: Equipped with a cooling system interface, allowing connection to a circulating chiller to maintain processing temperatures between 5-40°C, essential for heat-sensitive biological samples.


Working Principle
The high-pressure homogenizer works by pressurizing the material and passing it through the homogenizing valve to generate high shear force, cavitation effect, and impact force, achieving homogenization and emulsification.

Pressurization Stage: The liquid material is pressurized to the set working pressure (typically 100-1500 bar) by a high-pressure plunger pump.

Homogenization Process: The pressurized material passes through the narrow gap of the homogenizing valve, where the liquid is subjected to strong shear forces, collision, and cavitation effects, causing the particles within to be broken and refined.

Refinement & Homogenization: After passing through the homogenizing valve, particles in the liquid are dispersed to the micron or even nanometer level, and the liquid becomes more uniform and stable.

The three primary effects during this process are:

Shear Effect: High-velocity jets create velocity gradient differences within the homogenizing valve or restrictive gap.

Cavitation Effect: Sudden pressure drop causes bubbles inside the liquid to implode.

Collision Effect: High-speed particles impact the homogenizing valve body, resulting in breakage.
